In August 2021, with the collapse of Evergrande Real Estate, China’s real estate industry officially entered a period of transformation and development. This article conducts a visual analysis by selecting the financial data of two traditional real estate enterprises of different types, Vanke and Greentown, analyzes their experiences on the road of transformation, and strives to provide a reference template for the transformation and development of Chinese real estate enterprises. This study not only supplements the empirical research on the strategic transformation of traditional real estate enterprises from the financial perspective, but also offers practical references for other enterprises in the industry. It contributes to select appropriate transformation paths based on their own financial strengths, balance the relationship between transformation investment and performance returns, and achieve sustainable development in the new market environment.
