The country is vigorously advancing the innovative development of outstanding traditional Chinese culture through relevant policies. Under such a policy context, Liangzhu culture serves as a key heritage that witnesses the 5,000-year unbroken development of Chinese civilization. However, its implantation into modern basic education is confronted with realistic difficulties. These hurdles cover shallow perceptions among teachers and students, monotonous approaches to interdisciplinary integration, and insufficiently rich and varied extracurricular practice activities. This study takes four primary and secondary schools in the Liangzhu area of Hangzhou as research subjects, constructs a 5Cs Framework for 21st Century Key Competences (5C education system) for Liangzhu culture based on Culture-Science,Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (C-STEAM) education theory, and reveals the cultural transmission mechanisms of each teaching link through meme propagation theory. The research also draws on practical experiences of intangible cultural heritage inheritance in surrounding rural areas, proposing a vision of collaborative inheritance between schools and villages, to offer a referenceable and operable practice plan for the long-term educational inheritance of cultural heritage.
