Under the background of the rural revitalization strategy and the vigorous development of new-quality productive forces, current research on new-quality productive forces has achieved fruitful results in various industries. However, there is a research gap in the impact of rural production relations on agricultural new-quality productive forces. Agricultural new-quality productive forces have reached a modern level. China’s rural production relations have their own characteristics. These characteristics involve ownership of means of production, people’s status and interrelationships in production, and distribution systems. Guided by relevant theories of Marxist philosophy, this study adopts the theoretical framework of the “four-element theory” of new-quality productive forces. A matrix analysis is conducted on the “three elements” of production relations. By setting dependent and independent variables, the impact of rural ownership of means of production is studied. The impact of people’s status and interrelationships, and distribution systems on agricultural new-quality productive forces is also studied. Then the overall impact of rural production relations on agricultural new-quality productive forces is inferred.
