The Hong Kong Financial Bulletin (HKFB) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed international journal that aims to provide a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students to publish and access high-quality research and insights related to the fields of digital technologies, information systems, and innovations. Spanning from foundational theoretical frameworks to innovative applications and ethical considerations, HKFB provides a platform for innovative and advanced discourse on many disciplines including but not limited to blockchain, Big Data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things, and more. Catering to researchers, academicians, practitioners, and technologists, HKFB explores interdisciplinary research that converges at the nexus of cutting-edge technologies and human ingenuity, especially concerning sustainability, accounting, auditing, management, healthcare, and the environment.
Mission & Scope:
The Hong Kong Financial Bulletin (HKFB) discusses the transformation businesses have been facing by the prevailing dynamic digitalization, globalization, knowledge and information competition and dissemination. The current era of digital technologies has brought about high investments in data processing computerization in various industries. Such technological advancements are related to the use of digital transformation methods as a result of which business changes have been innumerable. Thus, digital technologies and transformation can pave the way for opportunities and benefits for all kinds and sizes of businesses. Businesses are searching for new methods to improve their productivity and maintain their competitiveness. Digital technologies have been generally used in each business to bring about the achievement of objectives and goals and each business attempts to apply digital related technology for higher efficiency and effectiveness level in managing enterprises/institutions. Therefore, HKFB mission is to foster incisive investigation into the interplay of visionary strategy and transformative technologies and inquire how these novel techniques and methods could help improve and enhance the situation of businesses. HKFB seeks to contribute to the development of theory and practice in the fields and to deliver useful decisions for practitioners, policymakers, managers, and other stakeholders. The overall objective is to establish a leading journal that is recognized for its high-quality research, interdisciplinary approach, and impact on theory and practice.
